Back Up The SMS

Although there is unlimited memory space, the fact is the mobile phone ability to store the SMS not always maximal. Sometimes, the SMS which should be enough to saved but cannot because there is no enough space. Automatically, you should erase the other messages. Well... how if the text messages are something important for you ? The best solution is with back up those text messages.
There are many ways to do it. From sent those SMS via email or keep those on memory card. So, how to make those SMS readable to another devices such as PC ? The answer is that we should to convert the SMS into another formats. Generally, the text message formats restricted to .txt or HTML files only. In several applications, there are .doc format and the newest is .pdf. For instance, Nokia Symbian S60 5th edition has this format. But, the pdf format not maximal yet.
One of SMS back up converter application is X-SMS v2.0. This application is produced by A.Siraj Hassan Mohideen and dedicated to Symbian Freaks. Originally, X-SMS v2.0 is the newest development from typical application such as DyMZ, which provided to Symbian S60 version. The newest features in the application are the ability to convert SMS into .doc and .pdf, and the restoration process into the mobile phone easier.
Curious ? Here the step by step :
1. Download the X-SMS v2.0 application from http://www.sirajsoft.com
Because this software related with python program and script shells, you have to install those too. The download link is http://www.symbian-freak.com/downloads/app/python/new_py/python_forS60_3rded_and_5thed.zip and http://www.symbian-freak.com/downloads/app/python/new_py/python_script_shell_3rdEd_and_5thed.zip
2. Make sure that you install the two parts of this X-SMS v2.0.X-SMS-part-1.sis and X-SMS-part-2_signed.sisx
3. After those installed, you can see the application shortcut icon on the application folder and you can operate it directly.
4. On the menu "Option", you will get the option "Create", "Show SMS", "Create", "Restore", "Back Up","Get Files", "About", "Help" and "Exit."
Well, to create a SMS back up, choose "Create"
5. The next step, you will get the option to create SMS back up to another formats files. There are .txt, HTML, .doc and .pdf. Choose one format, and wait for the back up process until finish.
6. The back up file will showed on the memory card, and to see it, you just have to browse it with the file manager. Besides we can read it again, this back up file can directly send or share to the internet file hosting.
7. If you want to restore the file to the inbox, choose the "Restore" menu. 8. The next step, search the folder to saves the SMS’ file conversion, and SMS data, so it can restore again.

Microsoft Security Essentials

Microsoft’s Antivirus and Antimalware

Microsoft has released their antivirus and antimalware program called Microsoft Security Essentials. I think its the development from Windows Defender and Windows Malicious Software Removal Tools. When you are installing this program, it will detect or checking whether your Windows is genuine or not.

Then when you are passed this step, it will continue the installation process and when it finish, download the update and doing a quick scanning process. So, you’ll need the Internet Connection and the original and legal Windows whether Vista, Windows 7 or XP. The big problem is if it fails download the update or you don’t have the Internet Connection, it won’t scans your computer. In fact, the scanning feature will be disable. So, it’s useless if you install this program when you don’t have any Internet connection.

Microsoft SE has a simple interface with useful help section if you are a novice in the computer viruses and malicious programs world. So, you can protect your computer and learning about what is computer viruses, malware, spyware or adware as well. But, don’t ask me about whether this antivirus and antimalware program work well or not.

Oh ya, don’t forget to uninstall your another antivirus programs. Because Microsoft SE will give you a warning that it could be risk your computer if you have two or three antivirus programs on your computer, due to the conflict among those softwares. But, personally I find no problem when I was installing this program and keep my other antivirus program. Of course, I was disable the scanner guard features.

I think people already know about Opera Turbo, which is the new feature on Opera 10.00. This feature that claimed by Opera as the key to make it 10 X faster than another browser. And I have been trying it, and indeed Opera 10.00 with its Opera Turbo is more faster than another browsers.
I usually browsing in Internet Cafe, which when it crowded the connection be slower. And it frustrating me when I used my favorite browser such as Mozilla. It was not load the web and I had been waiting longer than usually. But, when I tried the Opera, and found out the Turbo feature, it was surprising me.
It was load the web faster than Mozilla and even IE. And I have been trying several time, it has been working consistently. Although, it’s not perfect. It comes with several weakness. For example, the quality of graphic elements from the web usually reduce when the Turbo’s feature is on. And maybe several web’s elements can’t load properly or not load at all.
So, not a surprise if you can watch video streaming properly and find out the web’s interface mess up. But, this case happen on the low Internet connection. The situation can be different if you are using high speed Internet connection. I can’t imagine if people are using Opera 10.00 on the high speed Internet connection.

How to Take Care of Digital Camera

Digital camera now becomes ’ must have item ’ which has to bring anytime we are traveling. The camera output (read : it’s picture) be the sign if someone has visited the place where it took and she/he can express at will. But, if you are misuse it, not the great shoot you go but a disaster. The camera can be broken if you can use it properly. So here some tips from the interview with Harisma Digital :

1. For outdoor using

When you take picture on the outdoor, don’t point the camera to the sun light. Because, it can be broken the lens sensor.

2. For indoor using

The same thing happens when there are some events in indoor. Don’t point the camera directly into the light when you take the shoot.

3. For using on the mountain or beach

A set breeze blow softly and the marine transparency turn out to be the factors which can be broken your camera. So, secure it with camera’s kleenex after you’re finish using it. While on the mountain, wrap your camera soon with a cloth so the camera not got stuck because the cold weather.
